The three building ensemble of this Project is part of the new urban development in Munguía, Biscay.
94 social houses, parking and storage are distributed within the three plots conforming an open block on a slope.
There are mostly three-bedroom homes, but there also are a few four-bedroom, some two-bedroom and even some single-bedroom apartments.
Lower floor homes are provided with large terraces towards the inner garden of the block.
This project’s most defining aspect are its balconies, distributed randomly all along the regular and repetitive windows of the facade.
Nearer streets are related to the houses through vertical shaped, floor to ceiling windows, providing a 24 h presence sensation in the surrounding public space.
The staggered shape of the long facade of buildings is proposed in order to adapt them to the sloping streets.
Its a two bay building type, with a stair for each two houses. Bedrooms and kichens are held in the north bay while living rooms are south-oriented.
